Steeler - Metal Generation: The Anthology [2005]

Aproximadamente 22 anos após o lançamento do único álbum do Steeler, o vocalista Ron Keel decidiu lançar "Metal Generation: The Anthology". O disco inclui o single "Cold Day in Hell" e seu lado B "Take Her Down", algumas canções do único álbum do Steeler ("Steeler", de 1983) além de versões ao vivo (inéditas ou não) e muito material adicional. Os destaques são muitos mas, particularmente as que mais me atraem são "Victim of the City", a belíssima "Dying in Love" e a versão acústica de "Serenade", gravada por Ron Keel em 2005. Aos que apreciam velocidade na guitarra, não se esqueçam que foi como guitarrista do Steeler que Yngwie Malmsteen iniciou sua carreira, inclusive, "Metal Generation: The Anthology" inclui um solo de guitarra infernal do sueco voador gravado ao vivo.
